Crim Defend brought Crimsafe to Spain after seeing how well it performs in demanding conditions like Australia's. Based in the Maresme area of Catalonia, it is the sole, exclusive licensee for Spain and Andorra, and the only official Crimsafe partner in Europe.

Crimsafe was first developed in Australia more than 30 years ago and has since become a trusted way to protect homes against forced entry, while still letting in natural light and fresh air.
Seeing the similar climate and the growing concern about burglaries in Spain, Crim Defend brought Crimsafe to Europe as a modern alternative to traditional security. Conventional shutters, iron bars and older protection systems are often awkward and heavy-looking, while standard insect screens break easily and offer very little real protection.
Based in Arenys de Mar, Barcelona, we are a family business directly involved in every installation in Spain. This lets us keep full control of the process and offer a personal service, taking care of every detail for precise, high-quality results from start to finish.

Screw-Clamp® Technology
The exclusive Screw-Clamp™ system fixes the mesh to the frame with a vice-like grip, allowing Crimsafe screens to withstand enormous forces. Developed and patented by Crimsafe, it holds the mesh firmly in the frame and, on impact, helps spread the energy evenly across the whole mesh.
Tensile Tuff® mesh
Made from 0.9 mm grade 304 structural stainless steel, Tensile Tuff® mesh is extremely hard to cut or pierce. Designed to withstand impacts, crowbar attacks and knife cuts, it keeps its strength and shape even under extreme force, giving solid protection without blocking airflow or natural light.
Triple-locking mechanism
Crimsafe doors and windows use a three-point locking system that secures the top, middle and bottom for greater resistance to forced entry. A “parrot beak” style lock hooks into the frame for a stronger, more secure hold.
